A staff bingo challenge that encourages team members to complete simple prompts, celebrate small wins, and connect with colleagues. As staff fill in squares throughout the week or month, the board becomes a fun snapshot of the positive moments happening across your school.

Schools are full of small wins, acts of kindness, and moments worth celebrating. This activity gives staff a simple way to recognize those moments and share them with the team.

Instructions

Choose your prompts and set up the board
Pick the squares that fit your team, aim for 25 to fill a standard 5x5 grid, and post the board somewhere staff naturally gather. Place a pen nearby and write your start and end date somewhere visible.

Explain it to your team
At a staff meeting or in a quick announcement, walk through how it works. Staff complete an activity, write their name in that square, and aim for five in a row. Each square can only be claimed once per person.

Decide how you'll celebrate
Before it starts, let staff know what happens when someone gets a bingo. It can be simple: a shout-out at the next meeting, a treat from the office, a handwritten note.

Let it run
Check in on the board occasionally and give a nudge if it stalls. A mid-point reminder or a quick "look who's getting close to a bingo" announcement can re-energize participation without adding pressure.
