Your staff are full of great ideas, and this activity gets those ideas moving. Instead of saving strategy-sharing for formal PD sessions, Staff Idea Swap Cards make it a low-lift habit that fits inside a staff meeting. Instructions

Hand out the cards
At a staff meeting, give everyone an idea swap card. Ask them to jot down a strategy, tool, or idea they have tried recently, using the prompts on the card: what the idea is, why it worked, and how someone else could try it.

Collect and review
Gather the completed cards and look through them for a range of topics, subject areas, and grade levels. Set aside a few strong ones to feature first.

Share the ideas
Feature the cards in your staff newsletter, post them on a bulletin board in the lounge or hallway, or add a rotating "idea of the week" slide to future staff meetings.

Digital swap
Collect responses through a shared Google Form using the same three prompts. Compile responses into a doc or slide deck to share with staff.
Grade-level or department swap
Have teams complete cards within their own group first, then swap across groups. Works well when you want ideas to cross between departments or grade bands.
