The busiest weeks often leave little time to pause and reflect. TGIF Reflection creates a quick opportunity for staff to recognize accomplishments, celebrate colleagues, share ideas, and focus on the moments that brought joy throughout the week. It helps leaders gather meaningful insights while reinforcing a culture of appreciation and connection.

Instructions

Share the reflection
Use the included TGIF Reflection printable and give a copy to each staff member. You can place them in mailboxes, hand them out during a meeting, or leave them in a shared staff space.

Complete the reflection
Invite staff to respond to the four prompts:
- T – Which team member went above and beyond this week?
- G – What goals did you achieve this week?
- I – Share an idea for celebrating together at school.
- F – How did you have fun this week?

Review and reflect
Collect responses and look for celebrations, common themes, staff ideas, and opportunities to support your team. Consider highlighting a few positive trends or ideas in your next staff communication.

Meeting reflection
Use the TGIF Reflection as a quick activity during a staff, leadership, or grade-level team meeting. Invite participants to discuss one or two prompts together before completing the form.
